“If you’re looking for a venue that has both indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, this place is really nice! The pictures on their website don’t do it justice. You walk into a clubhouse type building, which has a historical Palm Beach feel and then out onto the wrap-around covered veranda, which overlooks a HUGE croquet field. The whole lot is surrounded by tall hedges which makes a nice photo backdrop. The event coordinator Sandy, and the catering manager Scott, are so funny together. They helped me plan every little detail of my whole day, and it all came together perfectly. We had originally planned on our ceremony being outside on the croquet lawn, but the day of the wedding it poured all day long, so we had to have it on the veranda. It still turned out absolutely beautifully! They were so great at making last minute changes due to the rain, and I never felt worried or unsure of what was going on. Sandy was there all day and all night, and she made sure that all of my little touches were carried out, and I didn’t worry about a thing. I gave her pictures ahead of time of how I wanted the escort card table, gift area, dessert bar, etc. set up, and she had it exactly like the pictures. It was easier because I brought in and labeled all of the extra props/decor along with a picture. So many guests complimented the food! I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best beef tenderloin I ever had in my life. We had a plated dinner with a chicken, fish, and beef option, and everyone said their plate was delicious. No one was served the wrong dish, to my knowledge. We also had a timeline to follow, which was carried out flawlessly. Definitely check it out if you just saw it online and you’re not sure. We loved it and don’t regret a thing!”

As you may recall, a group of our attorneys were in town for a conference and used the event as a way to provide a unique experience for our clients and contacts who were also at the conference. Searching high and low for the perfect wedding venue for two engaged event planners is no easy feat!  A hotel/ballroom event simply wouldn’t do…that seemed too much like a regular work event. The venue had to be a unique, interactive experience for our guests, yet have the same food quality and service of a high-end resort (all on a limited budget, of course). The National Croquet Center met all of these criteria and even far exceeded our expectations.  During the planning process, not once were we met with a “no”. Every crazy idea we schemed up became a reality and was executed flawlessly. On the big day, I was expecting the same frenzy that comes along with all event set-ups…however, this day was different. We were both able to relax and enjoy the entire day without the anticipated worry, thanks to the incredible staff who worked so hard to iron out every minute detail beforehand.  The feedback from our guests has been fantastic! Everybody was so impressed and told us over and over what a beautiful and fun event it was! We definitely made the right choice in our venue partner. Our only regret in the whole wedding experience? Not trying out for a spot on Four Weddings – we know, for sure, that with this hidden gem as our venue, that prize honeymoon would have been ours!
